I've downloaded a charting tool for Excel and I'd like to try it out on some of the UK investment funds, like Jupiter Global Managed or Jupiter China. Is there anywhere I can download a bunch of historical price data on funds like this? It seems harder than getting data on stocks. Thanks!

For example would anybody be interested in buying 1-minute sampled stock price data for any company. If so, what is the size of this market?

I want a database of every zip code in the US with the median or average housing price. I know that you can get 2000 Census data, but I want something more recent. I am willing to pay for these data. Any ideas?? Thanks!

I am thinking of opening a website that provides pricing data: comparisons, forecasts and history from other websites. Is it legal to provide this if I sell this data without permission? All this data comes from publicly available websites.

Can anyone recommend some free or inexpensive data sources for historical stock info? In general, I'm looking for daily pricing and volume data for the last 5 years or so, for at least the NYSE stocks, or preferably a broader set of securities. Additional info, including fundamental info on the stocks, would be great too. I want to download this data and do some analysis on my own PC, so I don't want a site where I have to look up each result on the screen, but rather, somewhere where I can download a bulk set of data in a common, accessible format (XLS, text, etc.) Free would be best, of course, but I'd be willing to pay a reasonable price if need be.

The ease of importing the data into excel is a major plus.
